National FMCG is a trading name of 8t Ltd. 8t Ltd is the controller of the personal data described here. This notice explains what we collect through this website and how we use it, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

• Contact details you send through our forms: name, business name, email, phone and country.
• Business details for trade accounts, such as company, VAT and EORI numbers.
• The content of your messages and any stock lists you send.
• Basic technical data our hosting provider records to keep the site secure, such as IP address and browser type.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, quote and take orders. Our lawful basis is taking steps to enter a contract with you.
• To check that trade customers are genuine businesses. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and meeting legal duties.
• To keep records required for tax and customs. Our lawful basis is legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run this website and deliver form submissions by email, including our hosting provider (Vercel) and email delivery provider (Resend). They process data only on our instructions. We share details with hauliers, freight forwarders and customs agents when needed to deliver your order. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to an account are deleted after two years. Account and order records are kept for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, to meet tax rules.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email trade@nationalfmcg.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
